Where should I park?
Street parking is available on Portage Avenue and side streets at no charge. There is a spot to lock up your bike, and we are also conveniently located on one of the cities most popular bus routes with a stop right out front!
What should I wear?
Wear whatever makes you happy! Just make sure you can move in it ;). Please bring indoor only shoes for styles like hip hop, heels, broadway and jazz funk. If taking lyrical, jazz, or ballet, you may wear ballet shoes, jazz shoes, socks, bare feet, whatever your heart desires!
IMPORTANT notice for heels dancers: Heel caps are required when where high heels to class. We have them for sale at the front desk for $5. Chunky/Block heels are prohibited as they damage the flooring.
BRING A WATER BOTTLE. We have a water fill station but no drinking fountain. Water bottles are available for $12+gst at the front desk.

Classes cancelled due to low enrolment will be refunded in the form of a studio credit, or your class pass will be returned to your account.
Workshops, Intensives, and Guest Instructor classes are individually priced and the cost can be found on the registration page.

How old do I have to be to attend a drop-in?
Our classes are open to students of all ages! We see a wide range of ages from 13 - retired folks, with the average age being around 30. #LateNight18+ classes are for dancers aged 18 and up.
Adult Dance Programs are for adult dancers aged 18 and up and mature teenagers aged 16 and up. We also have youth programs for ages 3-13.
Our faculty members have absolute creative freedom in regards to their choice of music. The subject matter of each class varies.
How are the classes structured?
Drop-in classes non-commitment based, individual 60 minute classes. Most start with a warm up and/or technique. After the warm up you will learn a short piece of choreography step-by-step! At the end of class we offer a couple of opportunities to be filmed, however this is totally not a requirement of class. We will always ask your permission before filming, and give you the option to keep dancing out of sight of the camera.
When can I start?
You can start anytime you like! Our classes run on a drop-in basis with different choreography every week. This means you can drop-in to a beginner class if that’s your level, and when you feel you have improved to the extent that it is not challenging anymore, you move on to the next level.
Our programs, intensives, and workshops run every 8 - 12 weeks. If you can commit to a regular class at a specific time each week, we highly recommend these classes!
Where are my class passes?
You can view your class package history by logging in to your Drop In Dance Winnipeg App. Log in > Select "Profile" > "Drop In Dance Winnipeg" > Scroll down and you will see your passes!
What is your refund policy?
DROP IN CLASS POLICY:
We do not provide refunds.
Cancellations made at least 24 hours PRIOR TO class will have their pass credited to their account.
Cancellations made WITHIN 24 hours of class are non-refundable. The app will not accept cancellations within 24 hours of class. Please contact us to cancel.
Your pass will be returned/credited to your Drop In Dance Winnipeg Inc. account for future booking in the
event that Drop In Dance Winnipeg Inc. cancels the class. Classes with low enrolment 2 hours prior to class
will be cancelled and your class pass will be credited to your Drop In Dance Winnipeg Inc. account.
Drop in Dance Winnipeg reserves the right to change instructors in the case of scheduled instructor
absence. Refunds and transfers will not be provided for cancellations.
Unlimited pass holders who cancel within 24 hours, or no-show, will be charged a fee of up to 100% of the
drop-in class cost.
Programs, Intensives, Workshops, and Guest Instructor classes are 50% refundable if cancellation is made with MORE THAN 14 days notice.
Programs, Intensives, Workshops, and Guest Instructor classes are 100% non-refundable and non-transferrable if cancellation is made with LESS THAN 14 days notice.
